Rules of the Competition:

  1. Works must be designed and produced by the entrant.

  2. Submit as many entries as you like.

  3. All works should be clearly labeled e.g. CD’s, DVD’s etc. with the author’s name, address, and any pertinent contact information. Works such as animated short films, Games, VR simulations etc. should include the Title, software and techniques used.

  4.  Show credits clearly indicating what work was done by the artist(s) and if others were involved, what they did as well.

  5. File (s) used to create the final presentation must not have been entered previously in any contest.

  6. The final presentation must not have been entered previously in any contest.

  7. Final presentation must not infringe upon third parties intellectual property, privacy, and or any other rights.

  8. All final presentations should not contain any offensive element (s). See Part A below.

  9. By submitting your entry(ies), you are attesting that you have the necessary authorization to use the images, audio, text and other content contained
    therein. DO NOT enter your entry if you are in violation, or uncertain of your rights to, any copyrights, patents, trademarks or other intellectual property.

  • To be eligible for judging in the competition, the website should also be live (accessible via the internet).

  • Design consistency with the chosen development focus.

  • A search map and a site tool must be provided for users to facilitate easy navigation through website.

  • In addition, websites hosted on free servers (such as Geocities) are ineligible.

  1. What Types of Websites are Ineligible?

Sites containing unoriginal material (such as templates) or unwholesome content (such as pornography or hate‐speech) are not eligible for the
competition. If your site promotes any of the following content it will be disqualified:

  • racism, sexism, religious prejudice or other forms of hatred

  • pornography

  • profanity

  • activities relating to hacking or warez

  • activities relating to cults or witchcraft

  • activities relating to gangs or other violent groups

  • degradation or humiliation of adults, children or animals

  • products or services that are illegal to use, sell and/or possess in Jamaica

  • unoriginal templates
